Lights are now dim.......

I installed a ceiling fan about 2 months ago. I also installed one of your remotes for the fan. Then the other day the lights started only getting half power. The fan has full power, and the other items using the same electrical are fine. I can not figure out why the lights are dim now. The fan only has one switch for the lights, either on or off. If you can help me solve this problem I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Aside from a wiring fault upon installation that may be creating a small short, or interference from the fan motor, have you tried fixing the cheap parts? I.E. changing the lightbulbs out for a different set, or different types? Try using flourescent bulbs in place of your normal incandescent bulbs. Also, what wattage are you using? Your fan unit may have a limitation on wattage, or may only be throughputting a certain wattage due to a wiring problem. Does your fan have an energy saver setting?
