Have you tried checking the ignitor in your dryer ? a typical dryer ignitor for a gas dryer usually draws between 3-3.3 ampers if you take and connect a voltage meter or a multimeter around one of the wires going to the ignitor you would be able to see if it is between this range what actually happens if it is lower then 3 is the gas does not ignite in time so your dryer never reaches the tempreture that its trying to maintain what happens inside the dryer is it reaches the factory preset tempreture depending on what make and model you have the high tempreture of a dryer is between 150 and 190 for a hi and 120 -145 for the low inside your unit you also have two relays a hi thermostat relay which shuts off the gas when the tempreture reaches the preset level and a low thermostat relay which turns on the gas in which the ignitor is supposed to kick on and light the gas but if it is to weak it will not and will take alot longer for it to light If you have any further questions please message me back.
