Code "PF" = N/A
I have a duet GEW9250PW1 electric dryer, it is just past warrantee. The machine started blowing the circuit breaker and thus shutting down. When power is restored, the code is ?PF,? no help. Have attempted to monitor to the shutdown point and have observed no other codes. Have removed vent hose to physically feel flow, the flow seems to fluctuate slightly, and the heat seems to fluctuate, is not constant. Can you aid in a direction to determine real problem?
Thank you. Soft Touch
PS I hooked up another older dryer to the same circuit and the breaker stays on.

-PF- means power failure, nothing else. Most likely the problem is not with the dryer. The circuit breaker became too weak for the dryer load. I beleive replacing the circuit breaker will solve the problem.
Take off the front lower panel and look for lint around the sensors that are on the top of the air duct that runs from the fan to the heat tunnel. Mine had an electrical arc between a sensor and the duct, which tripped the circuit breaker. You can see a small scorch on the duct if it has arced. The dryer still works once you flip the breaker back on, but on mine, it opened the loop on the dryness sensor so that no longer works. Only solution for me is to replace the whole circuit board. Hope this helps :)
