Dryer makes banging noise

The dryer spins and heats, but it makes a loud banging noise on each revolution. How do I remove the front or back of the dryer to check it out?

Basscat, you first remove the door by removing the screws from the hinges. The door will lift up a litte and pull off. Next remove the spacers on the other side. Now the front panel will pull out from the top. There will be two 1/4 inch screws with latches on each side of the frame, remove these and the top will lift up. Now by holding the door switch and starting the dryer, you will be able to see what is banging. Once you determine that, you can remove the bulk-head, should be 4 screws, be sure to unplug the door switch. Unfasten the belt, remember the configuration and remove the drum. You are now able to get at the insides. Catriver..post back.
